Why the Banks are Lingering in the Great Recession-The TARP Funds are not spent!

Sunday, July 24th, 2011

Lending money is the business of the banks. However, they have all the TARP money to spend, so it is very beneficial to them to keep taking homes in order to gather the TARP money. Until Congress stops the great Taxation give away of our future taxes to the banks, we will continue in this recession. Here is why:

Your house is less than value of 2007. The bank has a loan on it in 2007 value. So, when you sell it, the bank takes the loss, but is compensated by the TARP money for the loss of the value. If the bank forecloses on you, it can take all the TARP loss and keep the house. It is a better deal for the bank, but not for us.

A friend is loan officer. He had a house that was going into forclosure because he was losing money as a loan officer and couldn’t keep up his payments. He was working with his loan company. Then, his loan company sold his loan to a loan company that didn’t take any TARP money, so my friend lost his home to the new lender. The bank bought it for less than market value, and the previous lender gets paid with TARP money. Both of them did very well. You see, it is the great home land grab by the banks.

My other friend bought a house from the Bank of America, who was representing Veterans Administration. She bought the house for $155,000 and it was worth $214,000 in 2007. So the bank was paid $59,000 in TARP money. The VA sold the house to my friend for $10. and was paid the rest in TARP money. She paid cash for her house.
So, they doubled their money and were paid twice for the same house.
Congress could reduce our countries’ debts by canceling the TARP money and let the banks go back to work making loans.

Americans United Nov 25, 2010

Since 1975, the forces of division have been at work in America slowly eroding our morals, faith in God, our educational choices of challenging to learn the truth, our courts, our living and growth finances and our future planning for retirement. We need to stand up, stick together and unite working as a united people, united communities, and work as a team.

I’ve lived long enough to know that the worst method is to be resentful, spiteful and separated. We will always have destruction.

 ”Enough!” I say.

Today, I choose the Constitution of the United States of America. Our nation has been one of no kings or potentates, because men are forever fallible. Men without laws is lawless. Men with too much power corrupt. Men with too little power are terrorists. We established America to be ruled of the people, by the people and for the people. Thomas Paine wrote much to many men in his time to influence the ideas written into our original Constitution.

Today, the courts rule the people. We have let one branch of the government gain a foothold on our freedom. Originally, we had a balance of power. The President, the Legislature and the Courts. We must stop letting the government fund groups like the ACLU and Planned Parenthood. Did you know the ACLU gets paid by the government when they win a case. No, this is wrong. Planned Parenthood is paid by the government. Agencies must live on their own incomes and not be paid out of the coffers of our taxes. The banking system can no longer be sued. There should be no one in America who is above the law. Every man is accountable to his neighbor. We have too many agencies who want the government to pay, instead of earning our way, win or lose, like every man, woman and family must do.
The government thinks they can manage our lives better than us. We have too many rules. The American system of free enterprise is being strangled by too much government and too many laws. We need less government and less laws so we are free to make a living and rebuild America.

What makes an American in my opinion?

We are the relatives of men and women who came to this country to have freedom, to have a chance at success on our own terms, to have safety and a choice where to work, to live and to have children of our own, whether it is one child or 25. My Aunt Alphonse and Uncle Herb had 18 children on their farm.

We want to keep what we earn. We don’t want it stolen by bankers, thieves, neighbors and Internet robbers. If you commit a crime, you should pay it back seven fold of the amount you took  in US dollars. I think it is a shame that we have let identity theft go unpunished. Let’s post their faces on the Internet along with the car thieves and rapists. The public stocks in the town square were a shameful deterrent to crime years ago. It is not popular, but it is a good reason not to dabble in crime. Steal and you pay it back seven times.

I recommend the Ten Commandments that the raving of a few have removed from our schools and off our court houses. A man without morals is a wreck about to happen.
America was started by the few brave souls who came to this country and celebrated on this assigned day, Thanksgiving, to be able to worship G-D on their terms, not of that of the King of England. Every race and religion have come to this country to have freedom. Yet, we cannot and shall not exclude Christianity, for they have been the driving force that has let America throughout all the years of our freedom. A man must rule his emotions and actions, or others will rule him.

So, stand up all you Americans and tell the world that we are a free people who can worship God on our own soil. Be brave and use your voice! Stand and unite! We are Americans and we are free and will defend our citizens, our finances and our land.
God bless America on this Thanksgiving Day!

Exodus 20:23 Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.

Stealing Leads to Poverty in Heart, Soal and Pocketbook by Grandma Kris

Tuesday, May 25th, 2010

I did not write the rules or create this world, but the The LORD God Almighty Creator did. There are rules and consequences that will follow, regardless of who you are, where you were born from the moment you break these written rules. Unseen consequences are like walking in the dark: you fall or skin your knees, fall off cliffs or down wells. The world has built-in consequences for us all.
I knew a girlfriend who used to steal a dollar or two from her Mother’s purse when she was a teenager. She lied about it and blamed her sister. She was known to take money from her sister’s piggy bank. Once it started, it didn’t stop. It was like an addiction. It caused people not to trust others in the house. It caused fights and lying. It caused strife and pain for the innocent ones. They were always in a turmoil and argument. The girlfriend began stealing from her friends and blaming her other friends. She was smooth with her words, but it destroyed those close to her. Sooner than you think, people figure out who is stealing and making excuses. Then, out the door, out of marriage, out of the house, out of friends, she was just out. She fell in with the drinking crowd and they were used to her-well- down, down she went. Stealing robbed years of good relationships, trust and connected friends from her. She could not understand that stealing was the cause of it. I have known her from afar all my life. In her 40′s, she decided to stop drinking and get her life straight. She went to Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). She started looking pretty good.
I heard a middle aged man telling his story on television about his youth and being a professional thief. He said it started out profitable and seemed the way to get ahead, but the people who stole were dishonest, so he could not trust them. As much as he tried to get ahead, he always lost. He came to the end of stealing and being a thief when he bought groceries with some of his money. When he went to the cupboard, all that was left was a can of beans. He gave up that life and decided it was very unprofitable. Thieves have no honor among friends.
Have you heard of the “Flying Scroll?” The story can be found in the Bible(KJV) in Zechariah 5:1-4:
“1 Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll. 2 And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits. 3 Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it. 4 I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.”

Could you live around liars, thieves, grocery takers, strife, anger, termoil, poverty, heart ache and a feeling of never getting ahead, because you’re always hiding and cannot be yourself? What a mean way of living!
Being honest and paying for what you use and eat and where you live, then you can be happy, work for dignity, be a good neighbor and have a place where you can connect, have friends and share from the abundance with others.
Poverty is caused by lying stealing murder, strife, being dishonorable, turmoil, lack of food, rent and household items. Poverty is a state of mind, not how much money you have in your pocketbook. Riches are not measured only by your bank account, but by the influence in your community, favor, friendships, a place in society, skills and abilities, a good education, and out of these abundances comes a good living. Give and it shall be given unto you pressed down and overflowing. I like walking in the abundance of life. You can too.
“Behold I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD, your God, which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way, which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which he have not known.” Deuteronomy 11:26-27
It is a simple decision: choose life or death. You can choose life!

If someone has not told you this recently or ever in your life, “I believe in you. I know you have good in you. I know you can do it. I give you permission to stretch yourself, pass your fears, and climb your visions and dreams, while having many friendships along the way. So, get busy living, choose life, instead of dying!”

I’m not Warren Buffet, David Bach or Phil Town, but I can Follow the Leaders! by Grandma Kris

Monday, May 17th, 2010

I’ve made many mistakes when it comes to saving for my retirement, but I didn’t make all the mistakes! I learned some along the way. Even old dogs can learn new tricks if they want to; and I want to! I only look back to the past to find mistakes I don’t want to repeat. I can begin, again, with a new plan.
Number one. Change my mind. Number two- get a plan. Number 3 Go research the idea at the library. Number 4 Read about people who are successful in life. Number 5 Start putting them into action in your life.
I started reading the Biography of Warren Buffet. The habits of youth of successful people carry into their future. Warren liked to earn and save money when he was young. He saved his money.
A Proverb says, Plow and plant your fields, and then build your house. You go to work and earn, or plant your fields, then while the harvest grows you water and weed it. Then, build your shelter for the winter months, chop your wood, dig a root cellar and store food for the winter. You can and preserve your harvest and pay your tithes to God Almighty, and sell your abundance. Now, you are ready for the cold harsh, winter months of snow, winds and ice. You don’t spend it if you don’t have it. No credit- means no bills to pay. Cash. Pay yourself first and for every dollar you earn 10% goes to God, 10% goes to you and 10% pays your taxes, and the rest is for housing food, clothes and play. Back to Warren Buffet.
Warren took his youthful savings of $9,500 and grew it into millions and then billions. Warren looked for mentors and people who were where he wanted to be. Harvard wouldn’t admit him. So he want to Columbia and studied under Professor Graham, who wrote Analyzing Investments. He mentored with Graham and learned from him and then found his own voice and trusted his decisions. Buffett didn’t listen to the phobias and false promises of Wall Street. He researched the companies and looked for ones that were solid business with good balance sheets and were under priced on the Stock market.
I am not Warren Buffet, but I can learn from his life. People connect and work and learn from others through neighborhoods, lessons, school, libraries and working together.
Peter J. Daniels, the richest man in Australia, started out as an illiterate brick layer. He saw Billy Graham in his 20′s and accepted Christ. He knew a man who sold real estate. One day that Realtor asked Peter if he would like to learn to sell real estate. Peter left his brick laying job and mentored with the agent. It was risky and hard, but he learned to read with a dictionary, asking people to read the meaning to him. You have to connect with others to get ahead. If your family, like Peter’s, is illiterate find someone to teach you.

So, turn off your TV and get out there and get going! Put one foot in front of the other, soon you’ll be walking cross the floor. Put one foot in front of the other, then you’ll be walking out the door. Get a vision and put it to work. You must take action!

I bought an outdoor play coat this weekend. Found a hiking group and ascended Beacon Rock on the Columbia River in Washington, this weekend. I wasn’t sure I could do it, but I had to give it my best effort. I did it! I was the oldest person there. Yeah for me, I broke a belief boundary and made my world larger.

David Bach is an author and financial Planner who teaches people to learn to be wealthy. You can find his books on the Internet and in the library. I recommend his book The Automatic Millionaire by David Bach. It tells in the first chapter how a common husband and wife can amass a million dollars using the daily cup of coffee or a pack of cigarettes factor of your every day work and live way to deal with your money. You must read to get ideas. If you are not ready for retirement your actions haven’t been working, so you must follow those who are succeeding. You need ideas and then put them to work. Books are borrowed ideas.

Phil Town is an advocate of Warren Buffet’s ideas on Rule #One by Phil Town. Rule number one is: Don’t lose money! Rule number 2 is refer back to number one! His second books if Payback Time.

I know enough to learn from others. Connect and learn, grow and be part of your community.

Mineral Selenium Missing in WA and OR by Grandma Kris

Sunday, May 2nd, 2010

May First, 2010
Today is my Grandmother’s Birthday in 1879. She passed away in her 90′s. She was a farmer’s wife and country schoolteacher. She had seven children and raised them in Montana, USA. They farmed, had a garden and canned their own vegetables, fruits, jams and meat. We were healthy and had plenty to eat.
My sisters went to college. So, we stepped away from the land. I wrote a paper while I was in college on Selenium. It is a trace mineral we need in our diets. Cows need selenium in order to carry their calves full term. My friend had come down with cancer, and I was reading all I could to help her. Selenium is a mineral that is sorely depleted in the farms of Oregon and Washington. So the cattle must be given selenium in their feed to protect the calves.
People need it to protect themselves from cancer. If the soil is depleted, we must have suppliments to protect health. I was listening to Valerie Saxion, a naturopath doctor, who said a person can cut their risk of cancer by 50% just taking 200 mcg of selenium a day. That makes sense. If the soil is depleted, we must supplement our diets with the mineral selenium. It is very inexpensive and available at most health food stores and many drugstores.
Vitamin C is needed by the body. Citrus fruits and supplementing C builds our immune system. Vitamin D3 research has found most people don’t get 30 minutes of good sunshine a day. We stay indoors too much. Vitamin D3 is vital for good health. Seniors need to spend time outside.
I watched a one hour t.v. show called “Food Matters.” They said that food was the most important elements we take into our body. If we are deficient in the basic nutrients, it causes many diseases. If we take the growing food, organically grown, into our body, we are supplied with nutrients and we heal. There is a limited number of nutrients that do many functions within our bodies. When we take in living, organically grown food, our bodies heal.

Honor from Childhood Throughout Life by Grandma Kris

Wednesday, April 28th, 2010

Remember when you were a lad or lassie, and you loved your brothers and sisters, your aunts and uncles? You loved to play with the neighborhood kids, and had a pact for life with those you loved: your brothers and sisters and neighbors. You kept your word, told the truth, shook hands on your honor, went to church, and believed in the ten commandments and endeavored to keep them. Your word was your bond. Contracts were not necessary. You could trust others and strived to do your best in school, while treating your elders with respect and dignity, because they treated you in a good manner, too. Your parents didn’t lock the doors of your home. Does that reflect today’s life?
It has changed in our lives since the 1950′s. What shall you pass on the the youth of today? Everyman could start with honor.

What is honor? Websters defines it in a 1940′s dictionary, because the newer dictionaries are corrupted with atheism and Darwinism. Honor-(honos, whence honestus, honest) Esteem paid to worth: high estimation: reverence: veneration: any mark of respect or estimation by words or actions: dignity: exalted rank or place: distinction: reputation: good name: a nice sense of what is right, just and true: scorn of meanness: a particular virtue, as bravery or integrity in men and chastity in females: one who is that which is a source of glory or esteem: he who or that which confers dignity(an honor to his country): title or privilege or rank or birth: one of the highest trump cards as the ace, king, queen, or nave(jack):, respect now restricted, except among the vulgar, to the holders of certain offices (judges) v.t. to respect or treat with honor.

The King James Bible defines honor in Exodus 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother; that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. Deuteronomy 5:16 16 Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Everyman influences 200 people they know in their community along with relatives to whom they are related. This number was told me by a Funeral Home, who has funerals for people all the time. You can give anyone respect. You can be an example to your children, your neighbors, your friends and strangers. The two-hundred people was before Social Media! Now one blogger can reach around the globe and across social lines. Opinions can influence, educate, inspire and change the minds of others in a more positive way. We blog, twitter(old fashioned telephone party line), You Tube(home movies for the world to see) and Face-(ourselves and others on an Internet) Book. I love the idea that I can tell stories to all the children, besides my own.

Every person grows up and has to wrestle with our Father and Mother. It is like facing our own failings and wanting to blame them. But they are imperfect and so are we. We can accept them with all their faults and love them for the good they gave us. The way to restore yourself is to forgive them the pain and suffering in your own life you think they caused. Then, decide how you will live your life and move past their faults into your new habits. The Bible is a manual of all the faults of mankind and how the LORD can change your life into something new, for God has prepared a new thing in your life.

For those children whose Mother and Father abandoned them, there is a heavenly Father, whose Son is Jesus who said if you call on my name and accept me as Lord in your life, I will never leave you or forsake you. You will become my children, my heirs, and the adopted heirs of my kingdom for which there is no end. Jesus said I go to prepare a place for you(when you die) if it were not I so I would have told you. I know about abandonment, for my family abandoned me. It is very painful, but Jesus comes and fills that place that was designed for Him when he created you. It was His Master plan that you would never be alone. He love me and I love Him. And He will do the same for you.
So, when you are lonely, go help your neighbor. If you both walk together, you can help one another. Learn to help others and the good will come back to you. The Bible says give and it shall be given unto you pressed down, overflowing. Go and find a Christian Church and they can become your new family, for they are part of the kingdom of God on earth until we get to heaven.

I think honoring people is the best way insure that you have a place, too. However, a proverb says, “If you call evil good and good evil, evil will come into to your house forever.” You must use discernment of the character before you honor them.
You can respect everyone even when they are mean to you.

The hardest lesson I have learned in the Bible is this one. “Bless those that curse you, do good to them that revile you. . . ” When dealing with other people someone is going to offend you. It is better if you can learn not to take offense. It doesn’t matter what color your hair, your teeth or your shoe size. You cannot change that, and neither can the other person. You can change your mind, your attitude and your outlook of how we judge others. That is where we get into trouble: judging others. We have discernment between what is good and bad. That is built into us from childhood by our Creator. Judgment belongs to the Lord God. He says, “Love your neighbor, do good to them . . . ” Start there. Whatever is good, whatever is kind, make room for your neighbor to live beside you and give them graceful allowances for their differences that are not like you. One of you has to reach out to another. It might as well be you.

We desire to belong and connect with others. We want to be part of a community and neighborhood. Let it start with you. Give and it shall be given unto you, pressed down and overflowing will be given back to you.

Lost Boys at Home by Grandma Kris

Saturday, April 17th, 2010

Having all you Men overseas is hard on the little boys growing up at home, whose Dads, Uncles and Grandpas are away.
The suicide rate in teen children is highest in boys ages 11-18 years old.
#1 death is Driving with others in a car with alcohol
#2 Suicide of boys 11-18 years old
#3 Overdose of drugs by experimentation
Statistics from Focus on the Family. org.

When boys go to school, Women teach.
When they go to counseling, Women teach.
When they go to their parents, the Mom’s teach.
Boys are in trouble with all that women talk!
Young men need men to take them fishing, teach them to work on thier bikes, fix their cars and love them.
A man has the greatest influence in a family by 75% of the structure and influence, stated by Dr. James Dobson.

I was a single Mom for many years. I decided that when my son and daughter were in their teens, they would challenge my authority and beliefs. As a Christian, I told them that they thought I was teaching them something wrong, they could show me in the Bible, and I would change. If they could not, then, the rules stood firm. It caused my children to go to the Bible and search for answers to derail me. My children used God’s authority over mine. They learned. We discussed it. God was first. I was second. They were third. We lived in line of authority and it kept peace in the house.

Remember the lost little boys, when you come home.
You can help each other get well, until you can take your places again.

Oh, by the way, women will gladly relinquish their total responsibility when men step in and help leadership, again.

So:
God be with you while you are far away.
Tell America’s sons we cry when you’re away.
Stand up and be strong,
We’re waiting while your gone.
We are willing and wanting to say,
Welcome home again.

The Sexual Revolution Ended in America on March 21, 2010 by Grandma Kris

Sunday, March 21st, 2010

I declare March 21, 2010 that on this day is the end of the Sexual Revolution in America. Sexual freedom did not work. We are losing our health, our children s’ health, and our future generations health. Plus, the personal destruction of ourselves to be able to connect with others and bond in marriage and community makes us vulnerable to other countries coming in and taking over our broken lives.

Personally, we are each acting out our lives. When our personal actions are destructive, cause death, give us diseases and ruin our hope of healthy children in our future marriage, then it makes sense to stop outside sexual relationships before we marry. It is better to stop our risk of diseases that can kill us before we get them. I am in charge of my life. I can say no. I can wait until I am married, whether I am a man or a woman. Men, more than women, want an heir for his line of inheritance. Women want to have healthy children and a rich family life.

Men thought they could cheat the safe sex idea by going after younger and younger women and children. Sexual abuse cases are so common that the idea is global in all cultures. We are heading toward the devastation that Africa has endured of losing their parents to AIDS. These children represent future generations 10-20-30-40-50 years that are being infected with herpes, HIV, Sexual Transmitted Diseases (STD’s) and other illnesses unknown. Science did not know about AIDS until the mid 1980′s. Hidden STD diseases may not be apparent or show ill effects until ten-twenty years from today. Mature men and women are destroying future generations of childrens’ health by their selfish, sexual indulgence, addictions of today.

Who will restrain you? If you have a child and you get divorced or never get married and don’t pay child support, the biggest agency in America is the Welfare and Children’s Protective Services will take over your life for 20 years. Did you know that the Welfare system is represented in the courts by the State Attorney General. He/She are in court every day against the public. They elect their own judges and it’s a system of adult abuse that you cannot imagine. It will cost you $1,000s of dollars and still lose. It is better to abstain and not have children than get involved with child support.

Your abstinence decision is not affected by the government, our parents, our neighbors, or our friends. It is your decision. There are additional benefits of abstaining. We calm down. Our chaos goes away. We can began growing as a singular person and develop our own personality. We learn to develop boundaries and grow in the community, where we feel safer from our emotional termoil. We can focus on things outside ourselves. We view our careers with greater zeal. and strive for healthier relationships with people who would make a good marriage partner. We become closer in our community.

We must endure and strive to protect and preserve ourselves with healthy bodies to bear our future children to be born, our future pristine generations building stronger generations born from our marriages. We must preserve our own health, so we can avoid cancer, incurable illnesses and destruction own of our lives. It is mine: my life and my future, my children, my grandchildren and my generations to come. I must take a stand and say, “I will wait until I am married to have sex to avoid STD diseases in my self and my children and my person body of myself and my mate. I want a healthy future. I want a long life. I want to have healthy children and have a long life with many generations who have the same gift that I can give them, by being protected and clean and free from disease. I can do this by practicing abstinence until I am married.”

The ultimate end of no personal sexual restraint is sexual addiction. There is an effect even more devastating. You cannot bond with others. You lose trust, love, your friends and cannot bond with other people socially and emotionally. This is the most destructive of all the pain we can inflict upon ourselves. Violence and rape are the next step. Women fight, men kill. It is destruction of all relationships by ourselves. Lawlessness leads to dictatorship. Jail and prison loom in this future. Society will restrain you.

Dr. McIlhaney and Dr McKissic show that we have sticky brains, that bond to one another chemically. If we have other partners outside of marriage, we become addictive to the act of bonding and having many relationships. So, our natural bonding, sticky brains designed for one partner turn into addictive brains desiring many and never bonding to one partner. We are sexually “Hooked.”

“Hooked: New Science on How Casual Sex is Affecting Our Children” (Hardcover)
written by M.D. Joe S. McIlhaney Jr (Author), M.D. Freda McKissic Bush (Author) 2009.

The authors state we lose our ability to bond and stick to one another the more sex we have before marriage. We literally destroy our ability to stick to one another and cannot bond and remain in a relationship.

Casual sexual relations leads to depression. Yet, we want to bond, but sexual activity outside marriage works like an addiction to sex. Thus, it is called hooking up. We are not satisfied with the current relationship. We persue the next new fix.

The authors drew diagrams and maps of our brains and how we respond to sexual interaction. Our sexual responses trigger hormone responses. We are “Hooked” in an addictive, internal chemical pattern. So, like the alcoholic and the drug addict, we are sexually, hormonally, chemically addicted state in our own brains.

Our long-term lives would greatly benefit with personal, sexual restraint until we are married. So, we can stick and bond with one person that we love. Every generation faces change and ideas must endure public opinion. Benchmarks tend to brand us, unless we see the future and react differently. We look forward into the future. So, choose your plans and words for the meaning! Words can transform your ideas, changes and future! Have you consulted your dictionary lately? Words are powerful. Words paint pictures. Do not allow others to label who you are! What a drag are the state offices, government agencies and the media label us Baby Boomers “ageism” and vraix! That means “old” in French! DSHS categories Aging and Disabled in the same group! Age and illness are not the same, for one can be healthy at 100. Your one hand may be hurt and the other isn’t. Your right knee may hurt and the other doesn’t. Your age doesn’t measure wellness. So, for now, set illness aside and let’s look at redefining ourselves, today, in positive words defining our ways.

Baby Boomers are the Birth Bubble nicknamed after World War II (WWII). Boomers are 70 plus million strong. I heard the blessings of so many births cause the schools to expand and boom for the next ten years. The economy increased after the war. It was a prosperous season in America.
Would there be some other descriptions of who we are? I checked the dictionary for meanings. I used a 1960 dictionary, because that was the time of the meanings and the socialists had not rewritten the words of our history.

Please stand still, for a minute! Where are you looking: backward to your youth or forward into the unknown and new horizons? If you have no vision for the future, pray and ask God to give you one. No man/woman knows the length of his/her days. Live each day with enthusiasm, love and hope. Exercise, sleep 8 hours, pray, eat healthy food and connect with family, friends, neighbors and new friends.

Plan your work and go to work. If you cannot find a job, work at finding work or start your own business. You can find resources. You can find someone to ask, direct and help you. Engage in life and talk to people. Someone has the answer. Persevere and work with fervor.

Research your options on the Internet is important, too. Your Grandchildren can help you get on the Internet or the Local Library has free computer access at no charge. It is important to be on the Internet, because all the information you need is at your fingertips.

Jesus calms the Tsunami waters. Feb 28, 2010

Monday, March 1st, 2010

Matthew 24:4-14, Mark 13:8-37, Luke 21:11-38 Jesus predicts the end times of the earth.

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. (KJV Bible)

The Pacific International Tsunami Warning Stations reported Tsunami waves rippling toward 51 countries and predicting 8 foot waves.

Chili’s earthquake had pulsed the start of a Tsunami that was heading across the Pacific Ocean on Feb 27, 2010. RED Alerts blared.
We saw destruction coming and could no nothing but watch. So we prayed. We call on the Name of the Lord Jesus who has the power to save us from destruction. Friends called friends, prayer chains went up, a “tornado of prayer” were shot to Heaven for our neighbors to be protected from damage and death. Emails were sent, asking Jesus to calm the waters and let the power of the Tsunami be swallowed by a whirlpool in the ocean and be nullified. Prayers for a calm ocean as if He laid his hand on the water and it stilled the waters. It was the Feb 27, 2010, the day of the Chili earthquake. Large waves hit a port in Chili. Tsunami alerts went out over the pacific coasts to all the residences.

A Tsunami acts like a rock being dropped in a still pond. It sends out rippled waves in a circular motion. touching all the land masses.

Californian folks didn’t listen and went ahead with their plans for an event. No waves were noted. Hawaii would be the first Tsunami hit. Sirens blared and people prepared for no food, water and gas. People moved to higher ground. More prayers went up to God. People knelt and prayed. Internets were watching the reports and cameras around the world were focused on a wave to come. We had confidence that God can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. We thanked God that we had not heard of any destruction.

Coconut Island, on the SW coast of Hawaii, had ripples of a 2 foot wave ran over it, rippled and swirled. No one was there and no damage. We thanked God for his mercy and grace that He had protected our neighbors in Hawaii.

We saw the warning of red alert be changed to green for Hawaii on the Tsunami National Reporting website.

Japan, Australia, Guam, Russia and 51 other countries prepared for the worst of an eight foot wave. Japan’s Tsunami management commanded the people to move to higher ground all along the west coast. They scrambled to higher ground. On Feb 28, 2010 an earthquake beneath the Pacific Ocean, 60 miles East of Japan, shook the ocean floor, sending wave shock ripples from its epicenter toward Japan and back toward the Tsunami. Like two quake ripples in a pond, the opposite wave’s energy charges lessen one another, nullifying the waves’ powers.

We continued to thank God for saving Hawaii and the American Coast. The Tsunami had only damaged Chile. No other reports of damage had been heard or reported. We praised God and continued to see God’s hand on the waters being stilled.

The associated press was reporting from all nations in the Pacific. Billions were watching in the time before disaster. The 900 mph Tsunami moving accross the Pacific Ocean was like the unseen prayers, continually, going up to God to spare our neighbors and countries. Every family who believed prayed on for safety and protection. God was listening. He calmed the waters in Hawaii and America.

Japan had a pier flood with four foot waves. It could have been from the earthquake 60 miles to the east. It was a small problem. No, Jesus listened to our prayers to still the waters, for the eight foot waves did not come. One peer with a four foot wave flooded. No coastal damage was done The waves had been stilled. The warnings were lifted at 4 p.m. on Feb 28, 2010 for the Pacific Ocean.

The Tsunami that never happened was a miracle from God. We sent a “tornado of prayers” to Him to save our neighbors. He answered our prayers. Jesus is alive and working in our lives. His Name is “I am” not I was, or will be. For He lives and works in our lives preparing for our present and futures if we call on His Name. The prayers of a righteous man availeth much.

Jesus said, “If you call on my Name, you shall be saved.”

We should all kneel and pray and thank Jesus for sparing us from mass destruction on this calm and peaceful Monday, March 1, 2010.
We are blessed by Him and thank Him with all our hearts for our friends and neighbors who are safe and back in their homes, snug and warm and safe, today.
