I grew up part-time in town and the other time on the farm. My parent's families were farmers and ranchers. My Dad had 3 girls. He gave us tools to fix fences, barns, and our play house. Building was fun. So, when I went to college, building piqued my interests. I became an Architectural Designer in Portland, OR. I worked in the architectural design realm for ten years. In the meantime, I was remodeling houses and fixing rentals.
Something was lacking. For me, knowing how to build was not enough. I needed to know about business finances and how to write or market. I learned you must know more than just design, so I went back to college. I graduated from Portland State University with Science, English, and some Business classes in 2005.
Looking at buildings and places to live is more than a passion, it is an imagination station of endless possibilities. My analytical background with curiosity and as a problem solver, makes me see better ways to make your home shine. My artistic side gives me love and use of color.
No one can do, or know it all. You develop a network of people that can do all the trades, financing, moving and negotiating that needs to be done. I can introduce you to Realtors, commercial lenders, developers, builders, remodelers, and jacks of good trades.
Sincerely,
Kristina
